The month of August we will work on the drills set out in the journal (Month #8) which are target transitions. This will include instruction on the topic, dry practice in the classroom, and then we will head to the range to test these skills out. You will need 20-30 rounds (depending on color track you are on) to shoot the drill one time. I plan on doing it a few times with you as well as another drill that will work the same learning concept. So please bring 50-100 rounds of ammunition if possible. I will make ammo changes as needed with accommodations.

I would also like to encourage our members to read Month #8 in the journal before coming to class and fill out page #143 to share with me at the meeting. I would like to know what your personal goals are and what helps to keep you motivated. You do not have to share publicly to the entire group, but I do ask that you please share them with me. I think this is a great topic to discuss! This information will really help guide me in being able to help you more effectively at GNO. It will also benefit you to work on your Training Tracker on page #148 for this month. Every little bit helps!!
